Here is a nice summery treat that will knock you off your feet!!!
Something sooo simple but sooo yummy!!!
~VANILLA ICE CREAM w/ BROKEN UP PREZEL STICKS & CARAMEL SAUCE~
*Grab yourself a nice big bowl of some YUMMY VANILLA ICECREAM
*Crush up some Bachman Pretzel sticks...and sprinkle them all over!
*Now...in the micro..warm just a bit of Caramel Sauce, and pour it over....MMMMM!!!
You will just LOVE the aroma, Love the taste, and you will be in heaven!!
OK...ONE MORE!!!!
~RAINBOW CAKE~
*Bake a white cake according to the package in 2 layer form (or a bunt)*
*allow it to cool thoroughly*
*Choose 2-3 different kinds of your favorite jello..I suggest red, orange, and maybe green or blue. *
*Get all the fixens ready to mix up 3 seperate bowls of this jello.*
*Once the cake is cooled..you will ne to take the back end of a wooden spoon handle (round) and poke holes all around the cake...yep, pull the plugs out!!! this will leave lots of holes in your cake but this is what you want!! Now..Make sure that you have the cake on a large plate or in an aluminum pan...large enough to collect the jello liquid..it gets messy from here!!!*
*Mix up the jello and now you are going to pour the liquid in the holes...making sure that you are careful not to overfill. Alternate the jello to make a "rainbow" of colors around the cake.....it is messy, right??? Well...it gets better and the end result is sooo worth it!!*
*Now, once the cake is full of colored jello...carefully REFRIGERATE IT uncovered until the jello sets...probably a good hour or two!!*
You have a choice of icings...We prefer the "boiled" icing, however I have had it with coolwhip and it tastes just as good..and it is easier, too!! Slice it in nice pieces and you should be able to see a rainbow effect inside.....now, take a bite...YUMMY!!!!!
